Television

It seems to me that I must continually challenge the things that I witness in this life, a demand of this very dream. A lot of the days pass with me still believing in the things I never see, never a part of. Cast into another sitcom, soap opera, or documentary of characters that should be turned off.
Maybe its better not to see your self on television, I'm searching in between channels of thought, I
know there is something better, something that is you.

Technical Difficulties

Tried to post this last week, but I had it sampled at the wrong rate for the flash player. I have modified the file, into a working sample rate. Enjoy

Full Moon MADNESS

Recorded some stuff today and thought I'd share it cuz the world just spins round and around. Guilty of using a Sound Design microphone that I paid 50 cents for at a thrift store on the west coast, Also used my honey's classical guitar and her laptop for recording. I wanted to capture that sound of the music that blossoms within my living room, on a regular account. This is damn close. So welcome, please don't spill anything on the carpet the women of the house works hard to keep it clean.

The undead

Ok, Here we are again in the world of this and that, Went through my archive last week and uncovered one of the first songs I ever put together with my Planetary computer. It goes back to my zombie concept lp that I lost interest in. This dub of noise captures a little bit of my sense of humor. Featuring some guitar tracks from a guitar I built from spare parts. I dedicate all this creative mess to late night scary movies.

Singing out!!

Here is a very old recording from one of my revived Earthtune studios, Recorded with a cheap Sony microphone and a Teac Dual Capstan Drive X-7 Reel to Reel that I bought from a thrift store, I then dubbed the mess onto cassette, and finally mixed it onto my hard-drive. I keep this one around, cuz it reminds me of my thoughts on music in that time. Like all my vintage recordings it sounds like dirt, and was recorded unrehearsed. I scribbled these lyrics moments before the red recording light went on This is one of the first songs I ever really sang on. I consider myself a guitarist not a singer. I sing (if that's what you call it) cuz theres doesn't seem to be any one else stepping up to the mic. The song is calmly titled "Sense of Doubt". their are earlier recordings of the early days ,but most of the cassettes have been disposed of in landfills. Somewhere I have a couple of tapes that have my ideas strung together. For the most part I have agreed to let the past rest, and get on with the moment.

Why not ask for more

As far as my memory can articulate, I have recorded very few cover songs. In my archive I have one cover, its s version of the song "Bird on the wire" by Leonard Cohen. Recorded with a portable cassette deck, one night after work, shortly after a couple shots of tequila. The quality is not to wonderful. In the beginning the vocals can not be heard, but under all the low fidelity there is something I like about this cut.
